I heard the stories and even saw the pictures. My precious angels wouldn't do those kinds of things when were older. Think again, naive Mommy.

The artist shows off her work |
Teagan's lovely artwork was completed with a crayon that she STOLE from our class this morning and stashed in her pocket for safe keeping.
My first reaction was one of shock. Admittedly, I wanted to laugh seconds later. Teagan saw this and smiled. I prompted turned on my mad face and told her that this was very bad.

Why didn't I think to steal a crayon?! |
|
Wouldn't want to leave any inch of the crib uncoloured! |

The artist's work up close. |
While I want them to learn that the walls and their crib are not their canvases, it is just crayon. Now how do I get it off the walls, cribs and mattresses? Oh and the door...they chose that as their canvas last week.
Two words: Magic Eraser.
ReplyDeleteOh, and two more: Good luck!
;)
I have to say.....not too bad. I mean. it could have been poop :)
ReplyDeleteFunny enough, they've (sort of) done the poop thing and it grossed them out. Thank God for small mercies.
DeleteSame 2 words as Allison!
ReplyDeleteI have to say...that is just classic hilarity! I have been known to say Hannah is a living doll, and sometimes that doll is Chuckie ;)

Yes. Magic eraser. Also toothpaste (I know, weird)
ReplyDeleteMagic Eraser!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to be mad when they are that cute. These are the things memories are made of :)
Totally agree. I definitely wasn't mad, but also didn't want to share my amusement with T ;)
DeleteThank you all! The Magic Eraser worked!
ReplyDeleteOh my word! I can only imagine what must have gone through your mind when you discovered this. I think I would have had to giggle a bit too. I mean seriously, how cute is Teagan's little face in these pictures, lol. Good to know about the Magic Eraser. :)
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry I laughed at this post. :)
