The one thing that actually slows them down for a few minutes...books! They love to read. I'll gather up a few books, park myself on the floor and within seconds they are in my lap. Current favourites include anything with animals!

ReplyDeleteOoh, do you guys have "Moo, Ba, La La"? What about "The Biggest Thing in the Ocean"? - both of these have been longstanding favorites in our house. The other is "Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes". I love how interactive you can make that one and it has a wonderful message. I love kids lit!
